Baptism/Christening (different words for the same service) is a joyful occasion where someone, a child or an adult, professes the Christian faith and enters into the Church community.
We regularly have Baptism services either within our 10:30am Parish Eucharist on a Sunday, or in a standalone service at 12:45pm on a Sunday afternoon.
The order of service that we use for standalone services may be read by clicking here. The service normally lasts around 30 minutes.
To discuss or book a Baptism please email the Parish Office and give the following information:
1. Your name, and the name of the person to be baptised (if different)
2. Your address (and, if you do not live in Sandwich, the reason for seeking Baptism here)
3. Any dates you would prefer for the Baptism, and whether you’d prefer it during a 10:30am Parish Eucharist or as a standalone service
4. Your availability for meeting to arrange the Baptism (weekdays, weekday evenings, or Sunday afternoons)
