Funerals at St Clement's

‘I AM the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.’

By the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead we have a great hope, even in the sorrow of parting. In a Christian funeral service, words of comfort, and promise of light and hope, sit alongside the personal touches and tributes that mark a person’s life.

If a relative or friend has recently died, the first thing to do is to speak to a local funeral director. In conversation with them, explain that you would like to explore having a funeral at St Clement’s, or a Christian funeral at a Crematorium. Between us we can find a date both for the service, and for you to sit down with the officiant to discuss the details of the service.

If you would simply like prayers to be said for someone who has died, please contact the Parish Office.
